Basics 3 wines
Visit to the vineyard and cellar and tasting of three Lazio IGP wines
Walk through the vineyard, visit to the winery and tasting of three IGP Lazio wines, paired with local cold cuts and cheeses.
‘From Grape to Glass’ experience brings you closer to the authentic heart of Acquapendente and Tuscia, where native grape varieties tell the story of a borderland rich in history, nature and winemaking expertise. The visit begins among the rows of vines, accompanied by Vincenzo, the owner, winemaker and oenologist: here, the landscape becomes the key to understanding the wine. The story of the terroir — ancient soils, unique microclimate, natural balance, exposure, grape variety — allows us to understand how every detail shapes each wine in a unique way.
We then continue to the cellar to discover how the company’s production philosophy — based on study, precision and deep respect for the raw material — accompanies the grapes on their journey to the bottle. It is an ideal moment to truly understand the intertwining of tradition, science and the winemaker’s sensitivity.
The final tasting completes the experience with three wines: Grechetto della Tuscia (Tuscia DOC – 100% Grechetto), Rosarotondo (Lazio IGT – Rosato 100% Sangiovese) and Ciliegiolo (Lazio IGT – 100% Ciliegiolo). The tasting is accompanied by a platter of bruschetta, cold cuts and cheeses with jams, honey and jelly spreads, all selected from small local producers.

Visit to the winery and tasting of five wines, paired with local cold cuts and cheeses.
The ‘Terroir d’Aquesia: border wines’ experience is an invitation to explore the essence of a unique territory, where Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany merge in a wine-growing embrace. The winery’s most authentic identity is expressed in an experience that celebrates the border not as a limit, but as a precious place of encounter and biodiversity. The visit starts at the winery, accompanied by Vincenzo, the owner and oenologist: the specific soil and climate conditions have a distinctive influence on each wine and give the producer the task of expressing the landscape complexity. Soils, microclimates and culture converge in a production vision that combines study, sensitivity and passion, with the aim of placing knowledge of the terroir at the heart of the wine.
Finally, there is a tasting of five wines that symbolise the winery’s terroir: Aquesia Bianco (Lazio IGT – Bianco), Rosarotondo (Lazio IGT – Rosato 100% Sangiovese), Grechetto della Tuscia (Tuscia DOC – 100% Grechetto), Il Molendino (Lazio IGT – Rosso 50% Sangiovese, 50% Ciliegiolo ) or Ciliegiolo (Lazio IGT Ciliegiolo), Santermete (IGT Lazio 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Sangiovese) or Contaluna (IGT Lazio 100% ciliegiolo). The wine tasting is accompanied by a platter of bruschetta, cold cuts and cheeses with jams, honey and jellies, all selected from small local producers.
You see? I had much more to say about this topic.

Premium
‘Terre d’Aquesia’s great red wines’ experience is an invitation to discover the depth, elegance and expressive power of the winery’s most important red wines, made from grape varieties that have been expressing the character of Tuscia for centuries. The tour begins among the rows of vines with Vincenzo – owner, winemaker and oenologist – where direct observation of the vineyard allows visitors to understand how complex soils, different exposures and unique microclimates contribute to the structure and longevity of the wines. It is a moment dedicated to awareness: understanding the terroir means interpreting what you will find in your glass.
The visit continues in the cellar to explore the role of time and the oenologist’s vision in the winemaking and ageing process. Here we describe the technical choices that allow barrique-aged red wines to achieve harmony and balance without losing their varietal authenticity.
The final tasting of three red wines aged in steel and used barriques – Aquesia Rosso (IGT Lazio 100% Sangiovese), Contaluna (IGT Lazio 100% Ciliegiolo) and Santermete (IGT Lazio 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 60% 40% Sangiovese) – led by the sommelier and accompanied with local cold cuts and cheeses, allows you to capture the essence of these deep, mature wines, capable of expressing a unique terroir, rich in biodiversity and winemaking tradition, offering a complete sensory experience that combines territory, research and the pleasure of a great glass of wine.

Exclusive
The ‘Purpureus: aged and special red wines from Terre d’Aquesia’ experience is an exclusive journey designed for those who wish to get in touch with the deepest and most meditative essence of the winery’s great reds. Here, aging becomes a story: together with Vincenzo, the winery’s owner and oenologist, you enter the barrel cellar, a quiet and intimate place where time takes care of the wine and each barrel preserves the identity of a unique vintage. Here, two wines are tasted directly from the barrel, an immersive experience that captures the wine in the present moment of its evolutionary process and leads you to the heart of the production choices: materials, toasting, resting times, aromatic evolution and structure. Every detail is part of a philosophy that combines knowledge, rigour and sensitivity, always with the aim of enhancing the territorial identity of Tuscia through rare, complex wines that are deeply linked to their terroir. It is the ideal setting to understand how everything converges in the creation of two extraordinary wines: Limine Vendemmia 2019 and Santermete Selezione 60 mesi, produced in limited editions and only when nature allows.
The tasting, conducted by a sommelier and accompanied by a generous platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, allows guests to savour the full expressiveness of the three aged red wines: Aquesia Rosso (IGT Lazio 100% Sangiovese), Contaluna (IGT Lazio 100% Ciliegiolo) and Santermete (IGT Lazio 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Sangiovese) – and the two reserve reds. It is a moment dedicated to wine meditation, designed for enthusiasts and experts seeking a unique experience and a rare encounter with the wine heritage of a territory on the border between Lazio, Umbria and Tuscany, celebrating the excellence of exceptional vintages and the ability of man and time to transform wine into an unforgettable memory.

Natural Wines
The ‘Jazz: improvisation in white and red’ experience allows you to discover the most innovative, experimental and sustainable side of Terre d’Aquesia: the JAZZ line, dedicated to spontaneously fermented wines. We start in the vineyard, together with Vincenzo – owner, winemaker and oenologist – to learn about the low environmental impact farming practices that guide the production of the two natural wines, Jazz white and Jazz red. Here, a story takes shape that combines terroir, biodiversity and continuous research: because every sip of these wines stems from the desire to preserve the varietal identity, letting nature dictate the pace.
In the cellar, Vincenzo guides us through the discovery of spontaneous fermentation, a process that enhances authenticity and complexity while respecting the identity and vintage of each grape. Study, awareness and respect for the raw material are the basis of the production philosophy: no standardisation, only the desire to bring out the characteristics of the native grape variety and the work in the vineyard. The result is dynamic and expressive wines, like a jazz improvisation, in which each vintage finds its own voice.
The tasting of four wines, led by the sommelier and accompanied with a rich platter of cold cuts and cheeses from small local producers, allows you to capture the essence of the 2022 and 2023 vintages of Jazz Bianco and Jazz Rosso, lively wines, intensely linked to the terroir and the human talent that accompanied them. And as in the best musical performances, the tasting includes an unscheduled addition: Il Serio 2022, another spontaneously fermented wine from the winery, inspired by Sigerico, the first pilgrim of the Via Francigena. Through this multisensory experience, surrounded by the notes of the best jazz musicians, Terre d’Aquesia wishes to bring the public closer to a production that concretely supports biodiversity and promotes a more natural model, dedicated to those who seek authentic wines with character, capable of expressing the territory without filters.
